As a business owner, Macy knows that the private sector is the engine of the economy, that a free market with limited government brings prosperity. He's experienced in creating jobs and is personally a product of the American Dream. He believes that when you have a system of incentives with less taxes and regulation, it unleashes the human spirit, inspires human creativity, and in turn, creates wealth for all. Whenever possible, the government should get out of the way and allow entrepreneurs, businesses and farms, small and large, do what they do best: put Americans to work.

As a father of three, Macy believes that life is a gift from God and that life begins at conception. Macy will always stand up to protect the lives of the unborn.

Macy believes our second amendment rights must always be protected. The Constitution was built by our founders to limit government power and to uphold the rights of the citizens to protect themselves, if necessary. Macy is a gun owner, NRA member, active at his local shooting range, and will stand up against any attempts of infringement on our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
"A primary object should be the education of our youth in the science of government. In a republic, what species of knowledge can be equally important? And what duty more pressing... than... communicating it to those who are to be the future guardians of the liberties of the country?"
Macy understands that a key component to bringing in new business and a thriving economy is a great education system. He's passionate about developing the next generation, knowing they have the promise of solving problems, not creating them. Macy will fight for Missouri kids by making sure our state agencies are fiscally responsible with tax payer's money as well as see the importance of local control. Macy sees that it's important to leave the control to the district and classroom like ours so they can continue to be successful. Nobody wants to see their own children succeed more than the local community. Macy also respects those who make the hard decision to home-school or send their children to private school.
VETERANS / LEOs

Macy believes we need to honor and support America's heroes, and stand behind the men and women who put their lives on the line for us every single day. He's worked with several organizations to honor local veterans and law enforcement. These men and women protect us daily, and we must have their backs. Macy plans to work to ensure that our men and women in uniform, past and present, get the attention and care they deserve.

Macy believes that landowners have the right to manage their property, as good stewards of the land, without government interference. After being with his wife of 18 years who comes from a large dairy, cattle and crop operation, he sees first hand that the wealth of our nation comes from the land as well as the conservation and wise use of our resources; this is essential to the future of Missouri and America. He understands that agriculture is Missouri's largest industry and supports the great work of all individuals and families involved in agriculture production.
